Many of us have had the privilege of watching Ward and his dogs perform in the obedience ring. Their teamwork is unparalleled. Over the past sixty years, Ward has had many notable achievements. He has kindly agreed to lead an on-line seminar on a subject that will appeal to trainers at all levels.

- #1 All-Breeds Obedience Team in Canada 1999- GMOTCh, OTCh Simaril Slater – first GMOTCh awarded in Canada
- #1 All Breeds Obedience Team in Canada 2008 – NOC, GMOTCh, OTCh Spirit’s Zim Zam Zoom UDX6, OM4 – youngest dog to achieve the GMOTCh at two years of age
- Ranked in Canada’s Top Ten All-Breed Obedience Teams for numerous years
- Over 250 High in Trial and over 70 perfect scores of 200
- Golden Retriever Club of Canada National Specialty – High in Trial 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2018 – three times with perfect 200’s. In total, entered six times and won High in Trial all six times.
- AKC/Eukanuba National Obedience Invitational invitee and participant – 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
- Member Obedience Hall of Fame – Golden Retriever Club of Canada
- Only obedience team in history to have twice won the AKC National Obedience Invitational and to have twice been ranked #1 in Canada
- Involved in obedience for 60 years
