The Dumbbell Obedience Club goals are to encourage dog owners to explore, enjoy, compete and promote a variety of dog sports, particularly at this time, Obedience, Rally Obedience & Scent Work.  We hope to give members and other dog sport enthusiasts opportunities to practice skills and prepare for competition by putting on a variety of fun matches, trials, seminars and Canine Good Neighbour tests.  Recently the club has added opportunities to test for the Do More With Your Dog Trick Dog Titles.

The club is also involved in community outreach allowing a variety of breeds to be ambassadors by performing trick-based skits in senior homes.

The club has been active with the dogsafe program to educate people at community events on  preventing dog bites.
