K9 Frisbee is growing in Abbotsford and Abbotsford Disc Dog Club is helping to spread the word. Dogs love to chase and catch frisbees, it’s great exercise and it’s mentally stimulating while strengthening the bond with you and your dog. Abbotsford Disc Dog Club is helping to take your backyard game to new levels by teaching skills, how to safely play with your dog and hosting events. There are two main organizations that we support, Updog and K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch.

  • UpDog has designed some fun frisbee games built around the opportunity for every dog and human to work towards their own personal bests. You will have fun (Play), you will earn achievements (Achieve), and you and your dog will learn and grow. (Expand). You create a team with your dog, attend trials and build points and achievements. Visit https://updogchallenge.com/ for full run down of games.
  • K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch is a worldwide organization that runs competitive Leagues whereby disc dog Clubs from around the world get together to play in their hometowns once a week for 5 weeks. In each League, every Team (handler and dog) is ranked against all other Teams in the League, all around the world. The top Teams score points for their local Club. The Club with the most points, wins. Visit https://tossandfetch.com/ for more information.

No experience is needed to get started, and any dog breed can play. So, if you are looking for something fun to do with your dog while meeting new people in a supportive environment then Dog Frisbee Sports are for you.
