RALLY SEMINAR SURVEY

We need to hear from you soon!

BIG NEWS:  The Dumbbell Obedience Club is working to bring Karen Brearley to the lower mainland to do a Rally Obedience seminar, June 27/28, 2026 at Twin Creeks in Aldergrove, B.C.

In order to proceed we need to know that we’ve got enough interest to fill the working spots (12 of them) at minimum.

DOC club members Janice Gunn and Katrina Vavrovics noticed it had been a while since a local rally seminar was held, and they decided to take action! With support from club member Leanne Good, the planning is now well underway—we just need to gauge the level of interest.

This Rally seminar is geared towards handlers who are already doing Rally Obedience classes and or you are close to being trial ready for Novice or above in CKC or CARO. The seminar will focus on CKC Rally obedience rules and signs, but the skills will apply to CARO as well.

Day 1 – In the morning Karen will teach her must have Rally ready skills in groups split according to levels. The afternoon will be short private sessions to help individuals with their specific needs.

Day 2 – More am group sessions followed by afternoon CKC course runs for each handler. Karen will give her judge feedback with specific help to improve your performance.
